Rainy, JBay. I think we've had about 15" in the last 5 days. I saw a massive dead tree and a 44gal drum float out of the rivermouth and the whitewater is actually brown, greasy suds. There were classic Oz movies showing on Austar. One of them, The Last of the Knucklemen, was a beauty. It was set in the 70's on an outback drilling site. I'm not really into nationalism and patriotism as they're forms of racism. They're elitism - "I live in the best country in the world".ha. I'd like to think that we're all brothers and sisters under this sun.

Yesterday was a national public holiday celebrating the arrival of the First Fleet in Sydney Cove. This clip is a spoof on what we call bogans. You may know them as rednecks. It's pretty funny.
