At the last minute I swapped out JW for Dane, so far, a good move....Dane just needs to keep his side of the bargain now! Lost 2 so far, 5 through, 5 to surf...

Like a lot of people, I picked four Brazilians for this comp remembering what happened last year. But the waves have not cooperated. We have clean swell and there goes the Brazzo advantage. Julian's interference and Kolohe's faulty strategy did not help matters. So far I have lost Julian, Kolohe, Dingo, Ibelli, and Vargas. Of my seven remaining surfers, Simpson, Young, and Muscroft have not surfed. Only four through so far: Medina, JJ, Tanner, and Mendes. Oh well, at least it is an entertaining comp with good waves.

Half of them lost.

Next comp I am just going to pick who I think may lose then I might get a few through.

It looks like the seeding criteria is based fist on finish on the 2011 WT and secondly on finish in the 2011 "One World Ranking". That's why Andino is a yellow. I guess they are just bullshitting it until the new "One World Ranking" has enough events under its belt.

Shouldn't Dane Reynolds be in the blue selections? Dude is not even ranked in the top 500.

I expected a better selection of blues. Reds is going to be tough!
